Indian Springs Metropark is an amazing resource if you want to spend time in nature. The park is a 2,215-acre metro park in Oakland County, MI. It consists of wooded wetlands, meadows, and the Huron River headwaters. You probably won’t hear the red fox, but you might be lucky enough to see one!
The park has an 18-hole regulation golf course. Visit the park website to see rates and book a reservation. Indian Springs Metropark is open the whole year. During the winter, you can cross-country ski or go sledding.
Waterford Oaks Waterpark is a great place to cool off during the summer. The pools are heated, and they have a wave pool, bubbler fountains, and children’s water playground. It has a picnic area with a concession stand.
The waterpark is run by the Oakland County Parks and Recreation, and it is supervised by certified lifeguards. Waterford Oaks Waterpark is open June to September. All ages will enjoy a day at the water park!
